The National Museum joins other museums around the world in celebrating International Museum Day by offering tours and activities to guests and visitors on Thursday, May 18, 2017. This year’s theme is “Museums and contested histories: Saying the unspeakable in museums”.
Admission to the National Museum is FREE of charge. The museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
The International Museum Day celebration at the National Museum will kick-off with a FREE Contested Histories Tour in the morning and end with a Doodling and Lettering Workshop for Mothers in the afternoon. Manila Water Company, Inc. releases water service interruption advisory for Pateros, parts of Pasig, and parts of Taguig due to a pipe relocation activity in Parian Creek, Pasig City. Around 53,000 households will be affected by the water service interruption from Monday, May 15, 2017 at 8 pm to Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 6 am.
