Free Entrance to Yuchengco Museum

Entrance is free at Yuchengco Museum on Thursday, May 18, 2017, in celebration of International Museum Day. Take a tour of all the galleries and see the museum’s collection of heritage pieces as well as artworks by local artists currently on display (the retrospective of Burmese jewelry designer Wynn Wynn Ong, Ryan Arbilo’s photographs of overseas Filipino workers in France, and paintings by National Artists for Visual Arts from the museum collection).

Art Weekend: A Summer Mixer

Visit Art Weekend: A Summer Mixer on May 20-21, 2017 at Erehwon Center for the Arts for some designer pop-up shops, cultural performances, art workshops and an affordable art show. Admission is FREE.

The event, a creativity bazaar featuring local artists and makers, will hold a series of activities such as a 2-day rooftop art market (open from 1pm to 11pm, a Family Art Appreciation Class for parents and kids, live performances and much more.

BGC Art Mart Now Accepts Applications

BGC Art Mart, a project of Bonifacio Art Foundation, Inc. (BAFI), is calling for applications from artists and sellers of original, artisanal and affordable art for its event on May 20 to 21 at the BGC Arts Center. Deadline of submission of application is May 10, 2017.

BAFI aims to support local artists and makers of crafts and wearables, sculptures, prints and other artworks by providing a space/venue for the artists to showcase and sell their products every 3rd weekend of the month and special occasions in BGC at a minimal fixed fee. Participation fee for confirmed sellers is Php500/day for 2 days or Php800/day for 1 day.

Pop Up: Art Exit

Exit boring art conventions, enter the Art experience via _Pop Up: Art Exit on April 28 at 12 pm and April 29 at 9 pm at the _GALLERY in A SPACE Greenbelt, Makati.

Look around the exhibit and the artsy nooks, meet artists, buy artworks for your walls, learn about the local art scene, and attend workshops and talks.

Tickets are sold at Php250 per person per day or Php400 per person for two days and are available here. Additional fees may be charged for other activities.
