Delve into the world of coffee at Starbucks PhilippinesCoffee Appreciation Festival 2017 this coming Saturday and Sunday, June 10 and 11, 2017 (from 12:00 noon to 8:00 pm) at Glorietta 2 Activity Center.

Starbucks has lined up a series of activities such as seminars, interactive displays and exhibits for coffee enthusiasts and event guests. To gain access, simply present your Philippine-issued Starbucks Card (only the first 1,000 customers to present the Starbucks Card may be accommodated per day).

Here’s a summer activity for young entrepreneurs! Kids ages 5 to 17 are invited to join Kiddo-preneur Summer 2017, a marketplace where entrepreneurial kids can have first-hand experience in selling, engaging with customers and running a mini-business.

Participants may sell any product or service that caters to a wholesome family set. Repackaged items may be sold, although sale of original and homegrown products are encouraged and preferred. Selling of clothes or shoes as well as high value goods or electronics are NOT allowed.

This one-day event will be held on July 22, 2017 (from 9 am to 6 pm) at Palm Drive Activity Center, Glorietta 2, Makati City. Rental fee is Php3,000 per booth.

Prizes and trophies will be given to participants with Best Booth Design, Best Concept, Best Service and Highest Sales.

Kiddo-preneur began as a passion project in 2011 by mother-daughter tandem, Maiki and Brielle Oreta. As a business journalist for the ABS-CBN News Channel, having anchored the The Philippine Stock Exchange Reports and Business Nightly, Maiki sought teach her young daughter about business.

Together, they created Kiddo-preneur, a venue where children could learn about business and entrepreneurship first-hand, through practical experience.

Kiddo-preneur, through its events and initiatives teaches kids how to earn, save, invest, and donate.
