Alliance française de Manille’s (AFM) Ciné-Club presents Timbuktu, a French-Mauritanian film by African director Abderrahmane Sissako about the life of a cattle herder and his family amidst the ideological dogma imposed by radical jihadists in Mali.

Timbuktu, a 2014 Palme d’Or nominee, will be shown at the AFM Auditorium on May 3, 2017 (Wednesday) at 8:30 pm. Admission is FREE and open to the public. No registration is required.

The Alliance Française de Manille (AFM), founded in 1920, is one of the most prominent foreign cultural institutions in the Philippines.
