The National Museum Celebrates International Museum Day

The National Museum joins other museums around the world in celebrating International Museum Day by offering tours and activities to guests and visitors on Thursday, May 18, 2017. This year’s theme is “Museums and contested histories: Saying the unspeakable in museums”.

Admission to the National Museum is FREE of charge. The museum is open Tuesdays to Sundays, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.

The International Museum Day celebration at the National Museum will kick-off with a FREE Contested Histories Tour in the morning and end with a Doodling and Lettering Workshop for Mothers in the afternoon. In solidarity with the National Museum’s event, a talk will be given by Luisito T. Evangelista, PhD, at the Launching of Mobile Boxes Exhibit in Subangan Museum, Davao.
