Focus on What Matters: A Parenting Workshop

Let’s face it. Parenting is full of challenges. Compounded with the complexities of modern-day life, career, and relationships, parenting can sometimes be downright overwhelming. As a Certified Professional Coach, Pia Nazareno-Acevedo recognizes the need for parents to overcome anger, fear, confusion and doubt and to be equipped with tools and guides they can use to make life decisions that are aligned with their family’s core values.

On Tuesday, June 6, 2017, OneCORE will hold a Parenting Workshop with Coach Pia Nazareno-Acevedo at Fully Booked BGC from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm to help parents have clarity and focus on what matters so they can live their authentic lives as moms and dads.

Coach Pia Nazareno-Acevedo is the ASEAN Head of the International Institute for Coaching and Mentoring (IIC&M) and is a certified member of the International Coaching Federation with expertise in Family Relationships and Personal Life Transitions. She is also the Gallup Philippines Representative. Her newest book, Focus on What Matters, was released in November 2016 and is available for purchase from Fully Booked, National Bookstore & Amazon. Interested participants may present their Focus on What Matters Book to enjoy the two-hour workshop for free.

Water Service Interruption Advisory From Manila Water

Manila Water Company, Inc. releases water service interruption advisory for Pateros, parts of Pasig, and parts of Taguig due to a pipe relocation activity in Parian Creek, Pasig City. Around 53,000 households will be affected by the water service interruption from Monday, May 15, 2017 at 8 pm to Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 6 am. Residents in these areas are advised to store water for their needs during the said period.

The Road to Maker Faire

The Mind Museum invites the public to The Road to Maker Faire, a sneak peek of the first-ever Manila Mini Maker Faire, on May 13 and 20, Saturdays (1 pm to 5 pm), at The Mind Museum, Taguig. There will be robot stations, musical food and more for ALL ages!

The Swaggers Present In The Middle (a Hip-hop Dance Performance From France)

Get into the French groove! Watch French group The Swaggers in a hip-hop dance performance titled In The Middle at Samsung Hall of SM Aura Premier on Tuesday, June 06, 2017 at 8:00 pm.

Presented by Alliance Française de Manille, SM Supermalls, French Ministry of Culture and Communication and the Embassy of France to the Philippines, the show is a part of the 70th anniversary celebration this year of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and France. Proceeds of the show will go to the projects of France-Philippines United Action Foundation for the rebuilding houses of Typhoon Haiyan victims.

Tickets are priced at Php1,000 for orchestra seats and Php500 for balcony seats and may be purchased at the offices of Alliance Française de Manille. Tickets may also be purchased online here for orchestra tickets and here for balcony tickets.
