Young developers will learn the basics of programming through Scratch, a programming platform and educational tool that will let them create their own stories, animations and games by dragging blocks of code.

Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones

Adelaide FRINGE Award Winner Sticks, Stones, Broken Bones will run from May 3 to 7 at the PETA Theater Center. Presented by Bunk Puppets, this comedy will delight audiences with magical transformations using surreal shadow puppet scenes of flying chickens, brain transplants, sneaky ninjas and other hilarious silhouette figures using bits of household rubbish and household items.

Triumph of the Spirit: A Sanso Exhibit

The works of renowned visual artist Juvenal Sanso will be on exhibit at the Alliance Française de Manille Total Gallery from April 20 to May 26, 2017. The exhibit, named The Triumph of the Spirit: a healing inspired by the coast of Brittany, is presented by Alliance Française de Manille and Fundacion Sanso, in cooperation with the Embassy of France to the Philippines.

The exhibition will be opened by Ms. Gilda Socorro Salita, Director of Fundacion Sanso, in the presence of H.E. Thierry Mathou, French Ambassador to the Philippines. This year’s commemoration of the 70th year anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic ties between the Philippines and France serves as a fitting backdrop to The Triumph of the Spirit.
