The Little Gym’s Halloween Flash Bash

For you, it’s a worry-free activity. For them, it’s two hours filled with adventure, skill-building, and fun!

A spooktacular halloween party at The Little Gym lets you enjoy a kid-free afternoon to catch up with errands or have a little bit of me-time. Meanwhile, your children get to experience quality “kid time” in a safe, fun, and familiar environment with trained instructors who lead them through games, music, and skill-building activities.

The Little Gym’s Halloween Flash Bash invitation goes out to children ages 3 to 12 years and is open to all The Little Gym members and guests (non-members). So, kids, wear your favorite costume and join The Little Gym of Pasig – Mandaluyong on Oct. 29 from (12:00 to 2:00 pm) and The Little Gym of Alabang (Oct. 28, from 4:00 to 6:00 pm) for some spooktacular fun!

Quest of Heroes at Ayala Museum

The four moons have aligned and cast a shadow of darkness over the land. The ancient gods have gathered to give the mortals a chance to save their world from destruction. They will open a portal at the Ayala Museum on October 27 and they are calling for brave heroes to go on a quest to save the world!

 

Ayala Museum and Mystery Manila team up to bring you Quest of Heroes, an epic pre-colonial mystery adventure filled with challenging puzzles and mind-boggling clues waiting to be solved during your night at the museum. This pre-Halloween event is scheduled on October 27, 2017 (Friday) from 7:00 pm to 12:00 midnight.

Ticket prices:

Php 850/head : Regular fee per head
Php 760: Group rate per head (5-8 tickets)
Php 700 : Ayala Museum Members, Ayala Group Employees, ARC Card holders.

One STC Run 2017

This year’s One STC Run, organized by St. Theresa’s College, Quezon City (STCQC) Class of 1993, is slated for November 26, 2017 (Sunday) at 5:00 am in Camp Aguinaldo, Quezon City.

Dubbed One STC Run 2.0: A Family Fun Run with Duathlon and Kiddie Bike Race, this is the event’s second year to be organized by STCQC alumnae for Theresian families and friends.

One STC Run 2017 is for families who want to spend a health & fitness-centric morning together, serious athletes, and kids who want to exhibit their biking prowess.

The run is one of the fundraising activities of STCQC 1993 for its Homecoming on January 27, 2018 and for the class’ chosen beneficiaries: The Queen of Peace Convent, the retirement home of the Sisters of the Missionary Heart of Mary (ICM); the scholars of STC’s Sambayan Educational Fund, Inc. (SEFI); and the construction of the new senior high school building.

Smart Parenting’s Baby Shower

Smart Parenting is set to hold a workshop for expectant moms called Baby Shower on November 11, 2017 (Saturday), from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Discovery Suites, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

Soon-to-be moms can gather helpful information and advice from experts regarding pregnancy and child birth (topics range from Breastfeeding 101 to Post-Partum Recovery) as well as enjoy relaxing activities that are perfect for mom-to-bes in this intimate gathering.

Just For Kids: One Fun Day

Kid’s First Discovery Space is celebrating its tenth year of providing early childhood intervention programs for children with special needs via “One Fun Day: A Family Day of Festivities for All Abilities” on October 21, Saturday from 8 am to 12 noon at Cuenca Covered Court in Ayala Alabang, Muntinlupa City. The event will feature special lessons on hip hop dancing, taekwondo, futsal, yoga, and circuit training. There will be a designated area for fun activities such as sand play, giant board games, kite flying, and many more.

Kid’s First advocates for the inclusion of all children in our classrooms and in our community and hopes to raise awareness that ALL kids with various talents and capabilities can develop positively and interact harmoniously with one another.

Ticket price is at PhP500 for a single entry inclusive of entrance fee, snacks, and a loot bag. Avail of a discounted price of PhP1,000 for a family of three.

One Fun Day is organized to help raise awareness and advocate for inclusion of all children with different abilities in various communities. Proceeds of this event will go to the community-based rehabilitation program of the University of the Philippines-Manila College of Allied Medical Professions (UPM CAMP) and the Tulay ng Kabataan Foundation, Inc (ANAK-TnK).

3rd Danish Film Festival at Shang Cineplex

Catch the 3rd Danish Film Festival from October 19 to October 22 at Shang Cineplex, Shangri-La Plaza, Mandaluyong City. The festival is made possible by the Embassy of Denmark in the Philippines in partnership with Shangri-la Plaza and the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP).

All screenings are open to the public. Seats are on a first-come, first-served basis. This year’s festival showcases 11 contemporary and award-winning films from recent years:
